Birki started her 3rd year in Hotel Management in January 2023 at Lion Tourism & Business College. She is sweet, funny, and shy. Because of the sponsorship program with Tomorrow Come Foundation, Birki is able to attend college. She is living with other older adults from New Hope. Birki says she likes to read and study history. She also loves to sing in the choir.

Birki had not gone to school before she came to New Hope Orphanage as a young child. She was living in very poor conditions and rarely had enough food. She slept on a dirt floor. Now, Birki says she has hope and would like you to pray for her future.
