Dejene started his 3rd year of Radiology school in February 2023 at NAGHMC. Dejene is smart and confident, and speaks English very well.  He is a very positive young man.

Dejene lost both of his parents to Tuberculosis when he was little. Dejene was living with his uncle who wrote a letter asking if Dejene could be accepted to New Hope Orphanage. Before New Hope, Dejene often went without food for a day or more, and slept on a blanket on the dirt.
