Getu is in his 1st semester of 3rd year studying business management at Akmon Link College - December 2022. Getu says he is a good student. He loves to play soccer (futbol) and is a very good goalie.

Before Getu came to New Hope Orphanage, he was on the streets every day which was very bad for him. He was living with his grandmother because his parents had died when he was only 2 years old. Because he was fighting all of the time, and because his grandmother was very poor, she gave his name to the government and asked that he be placed in the orphanage.
