Kebebush started her 3rd year in Business Management at EAC-Ethiopian Adventist College - January 2023. Prior to that, she was studying Nursing and then changed majors. The government originally sent her to a University far away, but Kebebush was homesick and did not do very well in school. She then switched to the Nursing program at NAGHMC. The nursing program was a very exciting next step for her, and she wants to thank her sponsors at Tomorrow Come Foundation for making this possible.

Kebebush lived with her grandmother and brother before she came to New Hope. Both of her parents died of AIDS and her brother, Zelalem, is HIV+. He could not live at New Hope because of this.
